The Springville Tigers triumphed over the host St. Clair County Fighting Saints softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Springville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 21-3 non-league win over Corner (Warrior, AL).
