In Friday's league bout, the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils encounter the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 2. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA).

The Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Marion County was overwhelmed by Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 13-3, in a non-league bout.
