The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), observed Cigarroa's softball team notch a victory over Martin by a tally of 15-0.

The Toros (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Roma (Roma, TX). The Gladiators enter the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Roma topped Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX), 16-3, in a league contest.

The Tigers now hold a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Rio Grande City for a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, March 3. Martin will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 6-6.
