In Friday's non-league test, the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), by a tally of 15-4.

Next, the Wolves clash with the Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 27. Desert Mountain will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Mountain View (Mesa, AZ).

The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers come into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Pinnacle was routed by Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ), 13-3, in a non-league outing.
