Southaven Chargers (Southaven, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS), 16-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southaven upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, March 3. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-1.
