The Pioneer Diamondbacks crushed the visiting Valley View Tigers baseball team by a count of 11-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Diamondbacks now possess a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flour Bluff for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. Pioneer will face a Hornets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Victoria West (Victoria, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 4-2.

Next, the Tigers face the Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 2. Valley View will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Chiefs enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 6-2 league loss to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX).
