The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Cousino Patriots to 38 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Big Reds now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Detroit Country Day for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 2. Chippewa Valley will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 57-49 non-league loss to South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-13.

The Patriots (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, L'Anse Creuse North triumphed over Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 62-40, in a non-league contest.
