Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) and the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), saw L'Anse Creuse North's basketball squad hold off Chippewa Valley by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, L'Anse Creuse North improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Dakota (Macomb, MI) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Dakota lost 62-47 in their recent league challenge against Roseville (Roseville, MI)

Next up, the Big Reds confront the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Chippewa Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
