Michigan High School Basketball - Sterling Heights Stevenson fells Chippewa Valley
January 20, 2023: Sterling Heights, MI 48313 Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), 42-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sterling Heights Stevenson upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Titans host L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-6. L'Anse Creuse North lost 55-54 in their recent league bout against Roseville (Roseville, MI)
Next up, the Big Reds play the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Chippewa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 56-28 league loss to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI).
