The Lorena Leopards basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Mexia Black Cats to 37 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Leopards now sport a 31-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hitchcock for a non-league contest on Friday, March 3. Lorena will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 27-7.
