Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Cloud Cathedral thwarts Pierz
February 28, 2023: St. Cloud, MN 56303 The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN), 75-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 6-16 record. In their last test, Providence Academy went down by Cloquet (Cloquet, MN), 68-61, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Zimmerman for a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. Pierz will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 86-85 non-league loss to St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN). The Thunder record now stands at 7-17.
