Connecticut High School Basketball - East Catholic nips Gilbert
February 28, 2023: Manchester, CT 06042 East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT), 50-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Catholic upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Capital Prep (Hartford, CT) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Capital Prep won 70-52 in their recent non-league bout against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT)
