February 28, 2023: Canton, GA 30115 Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA), 8-7 in a league test.
With the win, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Sprayberry (Marietta, GA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 0-3.
With the defeat, Woodstock falls to 3-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Walton (Marietta, GA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-1.
