February 28, 2023: Cleburne, TX 76033 Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Friday, March 3. Midlothian will attempt to better on its 16-2 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cleburne (Cleburne, TX).
The Yellowjackets now have a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burleson for a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Friday, March 3. Cleburne will confront a Elks team coming off a 2-1 league win over Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Elks record now stands at 4-11.
