Texas High School Soccer - Irvin knocks off Mountain View
February 28, 2023: El Paso, TX 79938 Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Rockets confront the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 1 challenge, on Friday, March 3. Irvin will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Clint (Clint, TX).
The Lobos now have a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harmony Science Academy for a 4A Region 1 District 1 challenge on Friday, March 3. Mountain View will confront a team coming off a 2-1 league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The record now stands at 4-8.
