Florida High School Softball - Hollins bounces Pinellas Park
February 28, 2023: St. Petersburg, FL 33709 Hollins Royals (St. Petersburg, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pinellas Park Patriots (Largo, FL), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Osceola for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 1. Hollins will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Pinellas Park falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Tarpon Springs (Tarpon Springs, FL) to battle the Spongers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Spongers enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Tarpon Springs lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL)
