The South Mecklenburg Sabres triumphed over the host Porter Ridge Pirates lacrosse team by a score of 20-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Sabres host Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 5. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 2-0.

With the defeat, Porter Ridge drops to 0-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league outing on Monday, March 4.
