In Friday's league test, the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres lacrosse squad scored a good 16-1 victory over the Independence Patriots.

The Sabres now have a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Providence for a Southwestern/So Meck test on Monday, April 22. South Mecklenburg will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.
