Texas High School Baseball - Alexander holds off Hays
February 28, 2025: Laredo, TX 78041 The Alexander Bulldogs baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Hays Hawks to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Braunfels for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Alexander will clash with a Unicorns team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Hays drops to 5-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 4-2. Weiss lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX)
