The Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) baseball the visiting Arizona College Prep Knights (Chandler, AZ), 9-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Thunder now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Red Mountain for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Desert Vista will clash with a Mountain Lions team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Arizona College Prep drops to 2-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ) to clash with the Sabercats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1.
