Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 13-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Decatur advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Red Raiders host Albertville (Albertville, AL) to battle the Aggies in a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. The Aggies come into the match with a record of 2-6. Albertville lost 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL)

The Black Bears now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brewer for a non-league match on Monday, March 3. Austin will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Pennington (Blountsville, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.
