The Holtville Bulldogs baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Sylacauga Aggies to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Beauregard for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Holtville will play a Hornets team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Reeltown (Notasulga, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Sylacauga drops to 3-3 on the year. The Aggies host Winterboro (Alpine, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-0.
