The MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX), 9-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Forney for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. MacArthur will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Sam Houston drops to 3-4 on the year. The Texans travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6.
