The Santa Ana Valley Falcons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Morningside Monarchs to 3 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.

The Falcons now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Godinez Fundamental for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Santa Ana Valley will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Morningside drops to 2-2 on the year. The Monarchs host Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. The Roadrunners go into the test with a record of 2-3.
