Louisiana High School Basketball - Westgate thwarts St. Amant
February 28, 2025: New Iberia, LA 70560 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA) and the visiting St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), observed Westgate's basketball team knock off St. Amant by a tally of 61-48.
The Tigers now possess a 21-12 record. They play next when they travel to Loreauville for a non-league bout on Monday, March 3. Westgate will play a Tigers team coming off a 62-56 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 17-8.
With the loss, St. Amant falls to 21-23 on the campaign.
