February 28, 2025: Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) and the visiting Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX), observed Sulphur Springs's soccer squad triumph over Pleasant Grove by a margin of 5-0.
The Wildcats now hold a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Pittsburg for a 4A Region 2 District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Sulphur Springs will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Pleasant Grove moves to 4-9 on the year. The Hawks host Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A Region 2 District 13 challenge on Monday, March 3.
