The Leakey Eagles triumphed over the visiting Brackett Tigers softball squad by a count of 17-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Friday, February 28. Leakey will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Crushers enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Poteet (Poteet, TX).
