The Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) softball the visiting Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL), 10-6 in Saturday's non-league contest.

With the triumph, Parker improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Thundering Herd travel to Homewood (Homewood, AL) to face the Patriots in a 6A Area 9 contest on Tuesday, March 3. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 4-0. Homewood won 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against Leeds (Leeds, AL)

The Falcons now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Aliceville for a non-league bout on Monday, March 2.
