Alaska High School Basketball - Kiana overwhelmed by Napaaqtugmiut
February 29, 2024: Noatak, AK 99761 The Napaaqtugmiut Lynx basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Kiana Lynx to 44 in the Lynx non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lynx now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckland for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Napaaqtugmiut will battle a Sissauni team coming off a 70-57 non-league win over Davis-Romoth (Selawik, AK). The Sissauni record now stands at 10-5.
The Lynx (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against McQueen (Kivalina, AK). The Qavviks come into the non-league contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, McQueen was routed by Buckland (Buckland, AK), 92-45, in a non-league contest.
