McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC), 13-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Titans travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 1-0. R-S Central won 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC)

With the defeat, Mountain Heritage falls to 0-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 0-1.
