In Thursday's league outing, the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), by a count of 65-45.

The Golden Bulls (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the 3A/4A Conference 23 outing with a 0-17 record. In their last outing, Western Harnett was topped by Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 69-45, in a league outing.
