North Carolina High School Basketball - Emerson Waldorf overwhelms Howard
February 3, 2022: Wilson, NC 27893 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Emerson Waldorf Gnomes (Chapel Hill, NC) and the host Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC), saw Emerson Waldorf's basketball squad wallop Howard by a tally of 78-40.
With the victory, Emerson Waldorf improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Gnomes host Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC) to confront the Generals in a CAASC Triangle challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC) in a CAASC Triangle challenge, on Monday, February 7. Howard will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Mighty Warriors come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 72-64 non-league loss to The Burlington School (Burlington, NC).
