Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County knocked off by North Tahoe

The North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Pershing County Mustangs to 36 in the Lakers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lakers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coral Academy of Science - Reno for a 2A Northern contest on Friday, February 4. North Tahoe will battle a Falcons team coming off a 53-40 league loss to Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Falcons record now stands at 4-9.

The Mustangs (8-17) will now prepare for their contest against Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Highlanders enter the 2A Northern contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Incline ran past West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 83-49, in a league contest.
