Kent Place Dragons (Summit, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 53-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kent Place upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Dragons host Randolph (Randolph, NJ) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, February 7. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Comets play the West Side Roughriders (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 5. Hillside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
