Maryland High School Basketball - Queen Anne's County nips North Caroline
February 3, 2022: Centreville, MD 21617 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD) and the visiting North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD), saw Queen Anne's County's basketball squad hold off North Caroline by a count of 43-41.
With the victory, Queen Anne's County upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Kent Island (Stevensville, MD) to play the Buccaneers in a Bayside - North challenge on Thursday, February 17. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) in a Bayside - South challenge, on Monday, February 7. North Caroline will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 58-36 league win over Wicomico (Salisbury, MD).
