Ohio High School Basketball - Allen East can't hold off Spencerville
February 3, 2023: Harrod, OH 45850 The Spencerville Bearcats basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Allen East Mustangs to 61 in the Bearcats league victory on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion Local for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Spencerville will battle a Flyers team coming off a 56-44 league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, OH). The Flyers record now stands at 16-3.
The Mustangs (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Jennings (Fort Jennings, OH). The Musketeers come into the non-league contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Fort Jennings was nudged by Jefferson (Delphos, OH), 59-46, in a non-league contest.
