February 3, 2023: Temple, TX 76502 In Friday's league outing, the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), by a margin of 65-43.
The Tigers (22-8) will now prepare for their outing against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region III District 22 outing with a 5-20 record. In their last outing, Waco was trounced by Chaparral (Killeen, TX), 70-53, in a league outing.
The Broncos now own a 15-14 record. They play next when they host Killeen for a 5A Region III District 22 outing on Saturday, February 4. Lake Belton will clash with a Kangaroos squad coming off a 82-47 league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 7-21.
