February 3, 2023: Lafayette, CA 94549 In Friday's league outing, the Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA), by a margin of 49-47.
The Phoenix (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Jayhawks go into the Bay Counties - East outing with a 21-3 record. In their last outing, Head-Royce was tipped by Athenian (Danville, CA), 55-44, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Christian for a Bay Counties - East outing on Tuesday, February 7. Redwood Christian will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 50-19 league loss to College Prep (Oakland, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-18.
