Illinois High School Basketball - Leyden knocked off by Berwyn/Cicero Morton

The Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Leyden Eagles to 45 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside-Brookfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-46 league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-5.

The Eagles (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts enter the non-league contest with a 6-19 record. In their last contest, Argo was outscored by Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL), 73-57, in a league contest.
