The West Hardin Oilers basketball team (Saratoga, TX), was overwhelmed 64-18 in Friday's league battle with the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX)

The Wildcats now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hull-Daisetta for a 2A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Big Sandy will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 71-30 league loss to Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-12.

The Oilers (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Pirates come into the 2A Region IV District 25 battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, Deweyville was overwhelmed by Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX), 55-46, in a league battle.
