Texas High School Basketball - Big Sandy overwhelms Sabine Pass
February 10, 2023: Sabine Pass, TX 77655 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX) and the host Sabine Pass Sharks (Sabine Pass, TX), saw Big Sandy's basketball squad wallop Sabine Pass by a tally of 64-27.
With the victory, Big Sandy improves its record to 24-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Evadale (Evadale, TX) to confront the Rebels in a 2A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 18-17. Evadale won 69-22 in their recent league challenge against Deweyville (Deweyville, TX)
Next up, the Sharks confront the West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Sabine Pass will attempt to improve on its 16-17 season record. The Oilers come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 65-59 league win over Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX).
