Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Leander Lions (Leander, TX) and the visiting Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX), saw Leander's basketball squad wallop Cedar Park by a tally of 54-24.

With the victory, Leander improves its record to 18-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lehman (Kyle, TX) to confront the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 3-27. Lehman lost 48-43 in their recent league challenge against Lockhart (Lockhart, TX)

Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Cedar Park will attempt to improve on its 14-15 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 76-53 league loss to Rouse (Leander, TX).
