Michigan High School Basketball - Charlotte fells Portland
February 3, 2023: Portland, MI 48875 Charlotte Orioles (Charlotte, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Portland Raiders (Portland, MI), 61-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Charlotte upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Orioles host Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Pennfield lost 50-47 in their recent league bout against Western (Parma, MI)
Next up, the Raiders play the Laingsburg Wolfpack (Laingsburg, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Portland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 13-0 record after their 71-47 league win over Fowler (Fowler, MI).
