February 3, 2023: Mogadore, OH 44260 The Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) basketball nipped the host Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH), 48-46 in Friday's league test.
The Comets (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Ellet (Akron, OH). The Orangemen go into the non-league test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Ellet was tipped by Firestone (Akron, OH), 74-64, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Center Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Field will encounter a Tiger squad coming off a 56-48 league win over Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Tiger record now stands at 10-8.
