Texas High School Basketball - Decatur holds off Krum
February 3, 2023: Decatur, TX 76234 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) and the visiting Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX), saw Decatur's basketball squad hold off Krum by a tally of 45-42.
With the victory, Decatur improves its record to 18-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Lions in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 14-11. Castleberry won 69-62 in their recent league challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Krum will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Porcupines come into the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 59-34 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
