Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX) and the host Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX), saw Fulshear's basketball squad hold off Fort Bend Kempner by a tally of 51-50.

With the victory, Fulshear improves its record to 18-13 on the campaign. The Chargers host Foster (Richmond, TX) to confront the Falcons in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 13-14. Foster won 49-44 in their recent league challenge against Terry (Rosenberg, TX)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Fort Bend Kempner will attempt to improve on its 16-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 51-48 league win over Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX).
