Texas High School Basketball - Monahans tops Fort Stockton
February 3, 2023: Fort Stockton, TX 79735 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX) and the host Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX), saw Monahans's basketball squad knock off Fort Stockton by a count of 57-48.
With the victory, Monahans upgrades its record to 22-10 on the campaign. The Loboes host Seminole (Seminole, TX) to play the Indians in a 4A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 21-8. Seminole lost 44-43 in their recent league challenge against Greenwood (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Fort Stockton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 51-35 league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX).
