The Loyalton Grizzlies basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Herlong Vikings to 46 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portola for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Loyalton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 79-29 league win over Burney (Burney, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 18-4.

The Vikings (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA). The Cougars enter the Pioneer contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Paradise Adventist Academy triumphed over Elk Creek (Elk Creek, CA), 74-22, in a league contest.
