February 3, 2023: Waterford, MI 48329 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) and the host Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), saw South Lyon's basketball squad overcome Kettering by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, South Lyon improves its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI) to confront the Knights in a Lakes Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Walled Lake Northern lost 61-56 in their recent league challenge against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI)
Next up, the Captains confront the Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Kettering will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 61-56 league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI).
