February 3, 2023: Kindred, ND 58051 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND) and the host Kindred Vikings (Kindred, ND), saw Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg's basketball squad knock off Kindred by a tally of 76-58.
With the victory, Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Thompson (Thompson, ND) to play the Tommies in a B Region 2 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Tommies come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Thompson won 50-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Rugby (Rugby, ND)
Next up, the Vikings play the Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND) in a B Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Kindred will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Squirrels come into the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 58-53 non-league win over Grafton (Grafton, ND).
